I live in Toledo, a small, rural, town in south east central Illinois. My husband Richard and I have been married for 32 years. In January of this year,my husband knew he was going to lose of 22.5 years. His last Day was May 15th. On June 1st he started a new job. For 31 years I've been a homemaker. We have 2 adult children Jill- 31 and Ryan- 27 (son working as a Patient Account Analyst at local Hospital) but still at home. In June we started attending a First Southern Baptist Church in a nearby town.Β  I volunteer at HelloMornings. I co-lead a small Facebook women's Bible study group. Some of my favorite verses are Philippians 4:6-9 English Standard Version
Β 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus...
I own at least 33 Bibles
I greatest challenge is being up and getting into God's Word. I have dealt with depression and and anxiety all my life. I was born with the cord around my neck. I had bleeding on the brain. The doctor didn't tell my parents until morning that they thought I might die during the night.Since I didn't die he felt certain I was going to be okay. I started having seizures as a pre-teen(which are controlled). I was able to have an MRI a few years ago and found out the brain bleed left scar tissue.Β  I feel all these issues are a result of my birth trauma. My life is a miracle from God!
You are a miracle. Thanks for sharing. My favorite passage in the Bible is Psalm 139. It’s all of us, but it explains your miraculous life. Read it and be blessedπŸ™πŸ½β€οΈ
